Sotciastel: the most magnificent and historic farmhouse in Alta Badia has been brought back to life in 2020! When the first people settled here hundreds of years ago they built a home that would not only keep them safe, but also provide them with plenty of sunlight and breathtaking views of the entire valley. Now 400 years later, you can enjoy the same view as they did of the impressive Marmolada glacier and Gardenaccia massif and discover this magical place once again. Hildegard is determined to uphold the Ladin tradition alive within her house, and has therefore preserved and restored every single custom without any trouble. Every piece of design and furnishing of the entire house is touched with the historical style and background. The original furniture and paneling are harmonized with all-natural colors and materials. The traditions are not only upheld by the owner, but also the guests! The guests are also invited to participate in the community on the farm actively. Their day starts early in the morning where they are invited to feed the animals, followed by preparing a lovely breakfast. The owner places excellent value on homemade products such as jams, cakes, bacon, and cheese- all of which can be consumed by the guests. The whole atmosphere is cozy, loving and friendly. Their pursuit of traditions is respected at the highest level.
